Deep Cutz

Deep Cutz is an underground eclectic Drum & Bass, Dub(step), Bassline and Jungle event located at the Waalhalla in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. The concept of Deep Cutz was formed in the summer of 2009 as a spin off night by Strike Back giving space to the more progressive sounds of solid hype free underground bass music. After hosting these kind of nights under the flag of renowned Nijmegen based venue Doornroosje, starting with a smaller and more intimate setting at Merleyn a dependance the latter, the concept moved to indoor skatepark Waalhalla.

Now with main area that can hold a capacity crowd of 1000+ ravers and a second smaller bar/chill floor. The warehouse hosts an indoor skatepark which doubles up as a huge unique space for big events like Deep Cutz. In the last year this amazing venue has become one of the Netherlands most talked about venue. Opting to resurrect the old school sound system driven rave culture Deep Cutz transformed it’s concept in to something more fitting for our new home base. Still pushing the sounds of forward thinking music on both floors and delivering a true illegal rave experience in the main area at a legalized place like Waalhalla.
